Schools

  • The Sportslab

Sportimonium is a venue with particular appeal for schools since the museum couples the history of sports with physical activities. Furthermore, pupils who visit in a school group only pay 1 euro admission and teachers enjoy free admission upon presentation of their teacher’s card.

School groups are always welcomed at Sportimonium by one of our hosts or hostesses. They provide a free introduction to the exhibition and get the group started on one of the educational museum games, while a coach (45 euro/hour) puts the pupils to work in a sports workshop in the lab or in the traditional games garden. This teaming of thinking and doing is what makes Sportimonium such a unique venue for an educational outing. The combination of fun and an educational experience that fits perfectly with the curriculum and learning objectives of your school makes a visit to Sportimonium a must!
