We are happy to welcome fit and healthy visitors back to the museum for a run through sporting history in our new exhibition: Breaking Boundaries, the Olympic Games from Antwerp 1920 to Tokyo 2020.
At the same time, we want to make sure everyone stays in good shape. For this reason, we request that visitors comply with all of our precautions.
Step 1: Reservation required!
Unfortunately, we cannot allow spontaneous visits just now. Please book your visit in advance by phone. You can reach us on 015-618 222 between 10am and 2pm. We regret that we cannot accept e-mail or online reservations.
Entry is restricted to solo visitors and to family members living together in a single household (max. 4 pers.)
All visitors, including museum pass holders and others entitled to free entry, need to book in advance. This will enable us to manage the flow of visitors through the museum.
Group visits will not be permitted before 31 August 2020 at the earliest.
Tours and guided workshops are suspended until further notice.
Please note that, for safety reasons, interactive parts in the museum (browsing books, tactile screens, games, things to do, etc.) and the popular sports garden are not in use until further notice.
Large backpacks and large bags are not permitted inside the museum. Lockers are available outside.
To help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, no more than 10 people will be admitted to the museum per time slot.
A maximum of 10 visitors are allowed in the Breaking Boundaries exhibition at any one time. After viewing the exhibition visitors may continue to the museum’s permanent collection, which is also limited to 10 people at a time.
When you book your visit we will record your name, address, e-mail and telephone number for the purpose of tracking and tracing in connection with coronavirus.
Step 2: Come on time to get the most out of your visit
Remember to allow 10 minutes to walk from the parking area to the museum entrance.
Visitors 12 years and older are required to wear a protective face mask while visiting the museum.
Step 3: Confirmation
After you make your reservation by phone you will receive an e-mail confirming the time slot for your visit. Please print this ticket and bring it with you to the museum. You will not be admitted without it.
Step 4: Payment at the museum and by debit card only
Follow the mandatory one-way route through the museum and do not deviate from the path
Follow the instructions of museum staff
Maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from other visitors and staff
Wear a protective face mask: no mask = no entry
Disinfect your hands before and after your visit
Due to current health measures, the interactive modules and popular sports garden are currently closed

Additional information regarding time slots
Visits are permitted between 10am and 5pm. The last time slot begins at 3pm. A maximum of 10 people will be admitted every 60 minutes. No more than 20 visitors may be inside the museum at any one time. This means that you may be asked to wait briefly. Please adhere to your time slot.

Parking tickets for Parking Sport Vlaanderen cost € 5.00 and can be purchased from the automatic payment machine in the parking area (not in the museum).
