Donors

Sportimonium was able to build such a rich collection in large part due to the generosity of our donors. These donors are often renowned sportspeople, who kindly donate sporting equipment and personal documents to the museum.

The list is too long to mention, but names such as Kim Clijsters, Kim Gevaert, Thia Hellebaut, Eddy Merckx, Jean-Marie Pfaff, Gaston Roelants and Wilfried Van Moer provide a good picture. But there are so many other sportsmen and women, collectors and supporters who have entrusted important pieces of sporting heritage to Sportimonium.
